80 out of hundred smartphone users have Android powered devices but not all of them are aware of the things this blog talks about. I can bet that 99 out of all users did not know about one or more things in their Android devices.
Who created Android Logo?
Irina Blok, a Russia-born, San Francisco-based designer created the iconic Android logo in 2007. When she was working at Google, she created the logo that was needed to be simple and involve a robot.
Her inspiration was a pictogram that we usually see on the doors of public restrooms.
Type by swiping
Type by swiping is an easiest way to quickly format message, create notes and search in browser. All you need is a swipe-typing application. If you do not want to use a third parry swipe typing app, you can use Google’s own app known as Google Keyboard. It’s available on Google Play store and is available for free.
Sync tabs opened in Chrome browser running on other devices
If you use Chrome browser in your Android phone and other devices like desktop and laptop, you can sync the opened tabs among all of them. It will help you access any random page you opened in your office and want to open the same in your phone. All you need to do is signed in the phone and the PC and do some settings. They seem little tricky but you can do them easily. Here is the link to set sync between devices. Still experiencing trouble? Google has made this troubleshooting guide for the same.
Unlock a hidden animation & game.
If you want to see how Google has actually animated the Android version logo and added a game with it, just go to Settings > About Device or About Phone and check for the Android version. Here is how I played with animation in Moto G.
(In Mote G, locate setting > About Phone > Android version and then tap on it 3-4 times to run the animation; now log tap on the animation to open the game) Here is how I played the animation on LG G PRO Lite
(In LG Phones, locate setting > About Phone > Android version and then tap on it 3-4 times to run the animation; now log tap on the animation to open the game)
Open Multiple apps at once
Device manufacturers like Samsung, LG and several others now allow users to use more than app at a time and run them alongside one another. This function helps users use two apps without closing any of them. Use this option if you are making note of our monthly expenditures and also want to calculate them at the same time.
Take a screen shot
Now you can also take screenshots in Android device. All you need to do is hold power key and volume down key together.
